Giving Cyclists The Road

Cyclists are usually supposed to ride with the flow of traffic. However, you can share the road with them by staying as far to the left of your left as safely possible in order to give the cyclist room to ride. Make sure there is nothing coming on the road in the opposite direction before attempting to pass the bike while in Tulsa.

When you're on the road and see someone on a bike, make sure you use your turn signals and headlights at night. Give them a warning that is early enough for them to slow down. You can ensure that your turn signals are working by going to Jaguar Tulsa to have someone look at them.

Keep a safe distance between you and the cyclists on the road. About three feet is usually sufficient as many cyclists might not be paying as much attention to cars as you would expect.
